There are two groups that are run regularly and have songs, stories, crafts, games and fun for children. Sessions are organised by parents:

  • in Northwood Hills for children of school age on Saturdays and

  • in North Harrow Methodist Church for under 4's on Thursday mornings.

Duck Pond Market Harrow

Interesting, Local, Ethical. It has both farmer’s market type food stalls, and a huge amount of local and ethical arts and crafts, clothing and homeware sellers, live buskers and children's entertainment - face painting, a craft corner, a petting zoo, and a children's photographer.

On June 14th, Duck Pond HARROW will launch at Headstone Manor. The traditional agricultural buildings of Harrow Museum provide an amazing setting for Duck Pond Market, which will take place every second Sunday of the month between 10am-3pm. Family Fun Day in Canons Park

The Friends of Canons Park 6th Annual Fun Day will have something for everyone this year!

  • Headline act in the arena Karan Live and the KSPARK dancers Bollywood show (3.45pm)
  • fun dog agility display (2.30pm) and dog contest (‘Dog with the waggiest tail’; ‘Dog that looks most like its owner’; ‘Cutest dog’; ‘Dog with most personality’, at 2.45pm).
  • Kids’ fairground rides and bouncy castles, face painting and balloon artists
  • Hula hoop classes and demos.
  • Kids rides on the Little Red Train.
  • Visit from gentle shire horse (no rides) and visits from Fire Brigade and Police.
  • Football skills contest run by St Joseph’s Youth Football Club (pre-entry only, Tel: 07711 855 708 or 0208 933 6484 for details) and goal scoring contest with prizes.
  • Tai ji Quan demo and class.
  • Stalls include honey-making display and candle rolling, local arts and crafts, tombolas, Usborne childrens’ books, bubble machines, kids painting and henna tattoos, hand made greetings cards, jewellery, toys and free activity stalls such as art and paper mask decorating.
  • Local groups and organisations stalls, RSPB tent, tours of historic St Lawrence Church.
  • Food court including Friends’ tea tent, ice creams and pancakes, Indian snacks, candy floss, burgers and home made fudge.
  • Big brass band will be playing during the afternoon.
  • Don’t miss the Park’s brilliant new adventure playground, right opposite the Fun Day site. 
    Please use the Donnefield Avenue entrance to Canons Park. 
    (Please note that Canons Park and Stanmore stations are closed for engineering works on the day. Use Edgware Station or local buses. Very limited parking in side streets surrounding the park)

Kids Love Food Cooking Club

Cooking Club for children. They are encouraged to discover and try new foods whilst developing lifeskills and confidence. Most of all, the aim is to make food fun.

Open Weekend - Family Fun Day

A chance for the whole family to learn and play sport and enjoy the arts!

The programme is packed with free activities run by Harrow Council at the Harrow Arts Centre as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend. 

An opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to be creative, develop new skills and enjoy the challenge of doing something entirely different.

You can try your hand at willow making, spit painting or stained glass windows, find the beat at the drumming workshops or learn new skills at the sessions on digital photography, Tai Chi and singing to name but just a few!

Caterpillar Music Harrow


"NEW" children's fun activity sessions at 'Caterpillar Music' Young children aged (0-4yrs) enjoy a weekly 40 minute fun session of beautiful puppets, fantastic instruments, lovely songs to sing along too, actions songs to join in with, stories and plenty of fun music making.
At our fun classes every child is given an instrument and puppet to use throughout the themed based session. You and your little ones are always made to feel very welcome.

Are you looking for somewhere to hold your child's party? Kidz Zone can help with our range of exciting parties that are sure to delight children of all ages. Whether you opt for our sports hall or swimming pool based parties, our experienced staff will ensure your child has a party to remember.

Splash Zone Pool Party 
£135 - Exclusive use of our fabilous pool for your child and up to 24 guests. Our qualified lifeguards will organise 30 minutes of structured games and then supervise 30 minutes of free play with our floats and equipment. The party is suitable for 5-14 year olds and available on Saturdays at 4.30pm. Add to the fun with our Safari Run inflatable (also available on Sundays at 5pm) for an extra or our Water Walkerz for an extra £30.

 Sports Party
£116 - Suitable for 5-14 year olds and available on Saturdays or Sundays. Either choose your favourite sport from hockey to rounders, basketball to football - or go for our megamix combination of party games and obstacle course. Can cater for up to 35 children for one hour.

MegaMix
£116 - Created for 4-5 year olds and available on Satudays or Sundays. Up to 20 children get 25 minutes of structured games and 35 minutes of free play with our soft play equipment.

Toddler Party
£57 - For younger children aged 2-4 years and up to 14 of their friends. This is a 45 minute free play session with our soft play equipment.

Kidz Zone Holiday Camps

Stuck for places to take your children during the school holidays?Worry not because Aspire offer Ofsted-registered activity camps during the school breaks.

Our camps are great for 4-14 year olds and are run by experienced staff.

We have a range of exciting activities in our programme including sports. arts and crafts, horse riding, weekly discos and swimming.

A workshop for those with kids or care for kids.

The Stress Management Society is launching a new workshop in Harrow just for you, covering:

  • How to find time for you
  • How to keep physically strong, despite any mayhem around you
  • The breathing technique that makes it impossible to be unhappy
  • The 10-minute relaxation method that equals three hours sleep
  • 'Sofa Yoga' and 'Sofa Massage' to do at home whenever you like
